The Cove Workspace Pty Ltd ABN 13 616 813 668 (Cove) offers a boutique, premium co-working space and associated services and facilities (Services). Cove enters into membership agreements with persons for the use of Cove services.

This Privacy Policy sets out how we will collect and manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and its Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

  • the manner and extent to which you use the Services.

To the extent necessary to ensure the health and safety of other members who use the Services, we may
also collect and hold Personal Information from you that is sensitive information under the Privacy Act,
including health information.

Cove collects information in a number of ways, including:

  • through your access and use of the Services, the premises and the Cove Member Network;
  • when you complete a membership agreement with us; and
  • through general correspondence with us.

The Personal Information we collect from you is principally used to administer your membership agreement in order for you to receive the Services.

Financial information is collected for the purpose of obtaining payment for the Services, and business information is collected for the purpose of registering you as a member with Cove.

Information about you as a member is also used to facilitate your access to our information technology services.

Sensitive information we collect from you is used only to the extent necessary to ensure the health and safety of other members who use the Services.

Member information may also be used for quality assurance and evaluation purposes, to help ensure that our services, programs and equipment are of high quality.

We receive and store certain types of information when you interact with the Cove Member Network and information systems. We may use this information, together with other information we hold about you, to develop new services or to improve the services we provide to our members more generally.

We may also use your Personal Information for marketing our services, administering and operating our online presence and providing you with information about the services and other services that you have requested or that may be of interest to you. We may use an "email management system" to automate the management and dispatch of these emails. The personal information that the email management system collects and holds about you is used by us to:

  • ensure that you only receive correspondence that you have informed us that you wish to receive;
  • insert your personal information into our communications with you;
  • determine whether the information that we send to you is suitable for your interests, information needs and profile;
  • ensure that the email address that you have provided us is still operational;
  • determine whether emails that we send to you are received by you;
  • update a request that you make to us to unsubscribe from a publication that we send to you;

  • other members who use the Services; and

Cove will take steps to appropriately protect your Personal Information including.

  • physical security mechanisms to protect our hardcopy records; and
  • security applications and software to restrict access to Personal Information we hold in electronic records.
